CONTRACTS & LITIGATION
Legal Translation
Contracts, litigation bundles and corporate or IP documents translated by a linguist working in legal terminology, then checked by a second linguist before delivery — so a lawyer can rely on it without re-checking every clause.

Priced per standard page (300 source words), multiplied by language tier and turnaround. See the full tier and turnaround tables and the language tiers in detail.
Process
Order & scope
Choose your language pair and turnaround; tell us the document type and any defined terms or house terminology we should follow.
Assignment
A translator working in legal terminology for that pair takes the job.
Translation & independent review
A second linguist checks the translation against the source for terminology and consistency before it’s finalized.
Delivery
Your file is sent in the format you submitted; a hard copy follows if you ordered one.
Confidentiality & standards
Legal documents get the same independent second-linguist review as every other service here — stated as process, not a badge. Confidentiality is standard and an NDA is available on request before we see a single page. Quote requests for anything outside the standard catalogue get a reply within one business day.
When to request a quote instead
Ask for a quote instead of ordering directly if you have:
- A litigation bundle or contract set over 40 pages
- Work that needs to begin under a signed NDA before we see the document
- A retainer or ongoing volume arrangement
- A language pair outside the three published tiers
Legal Translation FAQ
Is this the same as a certified/sworn translation?
No. Legal translation covers contracts, litigation and corporate documents for internal use, review or negotiation. If the document needs to be presented to a court, registry or notary as an official document, you need Sworn & Certified Translation instead — it carries the stamp and certification statement this service doesn’t.
Can you sign an NDA before seeing the document?
Yes — ask for one when you request a quote, or note it in your order’s job note and we’ll send one before we open the file.
Do you keep terminology consistent across a document set?
Yes — a shared glossary is built and applied across every document in your order, and carried over on repeat orders for the same client.
What if the contract references defined terms or a prior translated version?
Attach it or mention it in your job note when you send the documents — we’ll match existing terminology rather than introduce new phrasing.
