UI STRINGS & WEB CONTENT
Website & Software Localization
UI strings, help documentation and web content, translated to survive re-implementation — so variables, character limits and context don’t break when the text goes back into your product.

How pricing works
Priced per standard page (300 source words (roughly 250–400 short UI strings, depending on length)), multiplied by language tier and turnaround. See the full tier and turnaround tables and the language tiers in detail.
Process
Order & format check
Choose your language pair and turnaround; send the file in its native format (CSV, JSON, .strings, .po, or similar) so variables and placeholders are clear.
Assignment
A translator familiar with software/UI string conventions for that language pair takes the job.
Translation & independent review
A second linguist checks that variables, placeholders and length constraints are preserved before delivery.
Delivery
Your file is returned in the same format, ready to reimport.
Confidentiality & standards
Software strings get an independent second-linguist check specifically for variables, placeholders and length before delivery — not just for prose accuracy. Confidentiality is standard for unreleased product content; an NDA is available on request. Quote requests for larger localization projects get a reply within one business day.
When to request a quote instead
Ask for a quote instead of ordering directly if you have:
- File engineering or extraction from a CMS/codebase rather than a flat export
- Continuous localization tied to a release cycle
- More than 40 pages of content
- A language pair outside the three tiers
Website & Software Localization FAQ
What file formats do you accept?
CSV, JSON, .po/.pot, .strings, XLIFF, or a plain spreadsheet export — send what your system produces and we’ll confirm before starting if anything needs converting.
Will variables and placeholders be preserved?
Yes — anything marked as a variable ({name}, %s, {{count}}) is left untouched; the second-linguist review specifically checks this before delivery.
Can you work within character limits?
Yes — note the limit per string (or per field) in your file or job note, and translations are adapted to fit rather than simply translated and left to overflow.
Do you handle continuous/agile localization?
Not through the cart — that needs a quote so we can agree a standing turnaround and file-handling process that fits your release cycle.
