Confidentiality & standards
Every transcript is checked by a second linguist against the source audio before delivery. Confidentiality is standard for interviews, depositions and recordings; an NDA is available on request. Quote requests for larger batches get a reply within one business day.
When to request a quote instead
Ask for a quote instead of ordering directly if you have:
- A large batch of recordings (over 10 hours total)
- Poor-quality audio that’s likely to need extra time
- Multiple speakers in overlapping conversation requiring careful attribution

Transcription FAQ
What’s the difference between verbatim and clean-read?
Verbatim includes every "um," false start and repetition — used for legal and research contexts where exact wording matters. Clean-read removes filler and false starts for a readable, publication-ready text. Choose whichever your use case needs; clean-read is the default.
Can you handle multiple speakers?
Yes — speakers are labelled (Speaker 1, Speaker 2, or named if you tell us who’s who) throughout the transcript.
Do you add timestamps?
On request — specify the interval you need (every line, every minute, or at speaker changes) in your job note.
What audio quality do you need?
Clear audio with minimal background noise gives the most accurate result fastest. Poor-quality audio can usually still be transcribed, but may need additional time — flag it when you order.
